After winning the first T2OI match of the series Netherland took the lead in the series, in the 2nd match, we had a brilliant match where Zimbabwe came out victorious in the super over.
Winning the toss Netherland captain Seelaar opted to bat first, once again Max ODowd played a brilliant knock of 56 runs while his partner again failed to score a big run after Williams took his wicket for 1 run only.
Netherland finished their innings on 152 runs with the loss of 8 wickets, Sean Williams and Mpofu took 2 wickets each while Jarvis, Raza, Burl picked up 1 wickets each. Zimbabwe needed 153 runs to win.
For Zimbabwe Brendon Taylor scored 40 runs, 23 runs scored by Craig Ervine and Chigumbura. When Zimbabwe required 13 runs in the last over Chigumbura starts off with 2 balls 2 sixes then a dot bal, then Van der Merwe took 3 wickets in the last 3 balls to draw the match.
Batting first in the super over Zimbabwe scored 18 runs, in reply hosts were able to score only 9 runs, hence Zimbabwe won the super over to draw the series by 1-1.
