Before the Ashes 2019 series starting on August, England’s senior fast bowler James Anderson has injured himself. Anderson has low grade stretch problem in the leg muscles.
Anderson, playing county championship for Lancashire, was injured during a match against Durham on 2nd July. After MRI scan, the tension in his right leg was revealed. After that, Anderson got ruled out of the next two county championship matches against Northamptonshire and Sussex.
For the 36-year-old Anderson, the Ashes series in England can be his last Ashes series, in which case he would like to get his team “Arn” trophy. It’s about a month for the series to start, which will give them enough time to prepare for the Ashes.
English bowler will start his rehab under the supervision of the England team and the medical staff of the Lancashire team. Only after the investigation it will be decided that Anderson will play in the match on July 24 against Ireland at Lord’s.
