On Saturday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a video on its authority Twitter handle, demonstrating Jasprit Bumrah impersonating Kumble’s activity in the nets in front of the eagerly awaited Test arrangement against England.
“We have all seen Jasprit Bumrah’s searing yorkers and sharp bouncers. Here’s introducing a never-seen form of the quick bowler,” the BCCI tweeted on its handle alongside video casings of Bumrah bowling his leg-spinners.
In answer, Kumble expressed: “All around done Boom. Very close. You are a motivation to the up and coming age of youthful quick bowlers who are copying your style. All the best for the impending arrangement.”
Kumble reported his retirement from global cricket in 2008 subsequent to scalping 619 and 337 wickets separately in 132 Tests and 271 ODIs. He is the third most elevated driving wicket-taker in Test cricket after Muttiah Muralitharan (800) and Shane Warne(708).
India are scheduled to take on England in a four-coordinate Test arrangement starting February 5 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. Following that, the two groups will secure horns five T20Is and three ODIs.
