Shadab Khan has been led out of the up and coming restricted overs arrangement against England after his tests uncovered an infection which would require something like a month of treatment.
Yasir Shah has been named Shadab’s substitution for the England arrangement which will be played between May 5-19.
“The Pakistan Cricket Board will presently set-up Shadab’s meeting with authorities in England to help him completely recoup before Pakistan’s ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019 opener against the Windies on 31 May at Trent Bridge,” said PCB in a public statement.
Mohammad Amir and Asif Ali have just been named extra players for the England arrangement. All groups taking an interest in the World Cup can make changes to their squad till May 23.
Pakistan will leave for the UK on April 23 and play three one-day matches against province sides before taking on England in the solitary T20I and five-coordinate ODI arrangement.
