Pakistan T20I captain Babar Azam has said that he isn’t under any weight and is sure of having the option to deal with the test in Australia, their next task.
The 25-year-old Babar Azam was named Pakistan’s T20I captain following their whitewash under Sarfaraz Ahmed in the three-coordinate arrangement against Sri Lanka. Babar Azam filled in as the bad habit chief during that arrangement and couldn’t accompany a tolerable batting execution as he contributed with scores of only 13, 3 and 27.
Be that as it may, on the eve of the group’s takeoff for Australia, Babar Azam said he looks for motivation from advanced greats Kane Williamson and Virat Kohli and needs to copy them as chief in his first universal task as a pioneer.
“Individuals made a decision in three matches (against Sri Lanka) that my presentation endured on the grounds that I was bad habit chief,” ESPNcricinfo cited Babar as saying.
“That is not how it functions. In the sport of cricket, you have good and bad times, and that was a poor arrangement for us, no inquiry. I give 120 percent for the group in each and every match, and I don’t perceive any reason why there would be any additional weight on me since I’m the chief. I’ll keep on playing as I generally have, and I’m certain the exhibitions will come.
“In addition, I’m not simply thinking I’ll be glad to play paying little heed to the outcomes. I’m hoping to get a presentation out of my group, just as my individual exhibitions. I see current commanders like Kane Williamson and Virat Kohli, and how well they deal with their own structure alongside carrying results to the group. I’ll attempt to copy them,” Babar Azam included.
Pakistan will play three T20Is against Australia on November 3, 5 and 8, trailed by two Tests later in that month.
