Pakistan reported its squad for the arrangement against England and Cricket World Cup 2019 on Thursday, in the midst of the considerable number of debates encompassing the arrangement of PCB MD Wasim Khan that was tested by the Governing Board individuals on Wednesday.
Executive determination panel of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Inzamam-ul-Haq declared the squad at a question and answer session here on Thursday.
The 15-part squad for ICC World Cup does not include Mohammad Amir, anyway he is booked to participate in the arrangement against England nearby another expansion Asif Ali.
Prior, sources said the determination board had concluded 17 players from which 15-part squad will be chosen.
National chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq has announced Pakistan cricket team’s squad for Cricket World Cup 2019. Just like England, Pakistan has announced a provisionary squad of 15 which can be changed depending on the performances in England.
World Cup squad: Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Abid Ali, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Hafeez, Sarfraz Ahmed (commander), Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, Hasan Ali, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Junaid Khan, Haris Sohail, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Hasnain.
In the mean time, the group is planned to leave for England on April 23 for a 83-day long rushed visit amid which it will play one T20 practice coordinate, a Twenty20 International, four 50-over warm-up matches and five ODIs before partaking in the 46-day ICC World Cup from May 30.
Pakistan will take West Indies in their World Cup opener on May 31 at Trent Bridge.
According to the ICC guidelines, every single taking an interest side need to present their 15-player World Cup squads by April 30 yet can make changes until May 22 without requiring the ICC’s endorsement. Post May 23, all player substitutions should be affirmed by the Event Technical Committee.
Britain, Australia, India, Bangladesh and New Zealand have officially declared their fundamental squads for the following month World Cup.
