Oshane Thomas, the Jamaican quick bowler, has been included as the fourteenth individual from the Windies squad in front of the second Test against England, beginning on January 31 in Antigua.
Thomas, who has played four ODIs and six T20Is up until now, has grabbed 17 top of the line wickets at a normal of 34.76. The tearaway brisk bowler was picked as a cover for Alzarri Joseph for the main Test in Barbados. Unexpectedly, Joseph, who got three scalps in the main Test, was coming back from back damage.
Subsequent to posting a devastating 381-run win in the principal Test in Barbados, the home side has held whatever remains of the squad for the Antigua Test.
“Oshane Thomas was with us in Barbados as cover and he has been added to the squad as the fourteenth player and will stay with the group as an extra quick bowler. We were all very content with the incredible outcome in the primary Test. We need to see them put in another strong execution in the second match in Antigua, where we won a year ago,” Courtney Browne, the administrator of selectors said.
