The last T20 match between India and South Africa is to be held in Bengaluru on Sunday. For this series, Kuldeep Yadav , the Chinaman of Team India, has not got a place in the team. Kuldeep did not get a place in the T20 series of the West Indies tour earlier. Kuldeep is not disappointed by this and says that this will help him prepare for the Test matches.
Kuldeep is currently playing a Test series against South Africa with India-A. After the match, Kuldeep told reporters, “If you don’t play the Test consistently, then it is very difficult to play the longer format of the game. If you don’t play the test continuously, it takes time to get in rhythm. When you play in limited overs, It is difficult even when you live and play the test.”
The chinaman bowler said, “You have to put long spells, practice matches, have to understand how to set the field and see how to take wickets. It was important for me to play India-A here and more Over overs. There is still a lot of work to do.”
Kuldeep is a regular part of India’s Test team. Despite this, he could not make it to the last-11 on the Windies tour. India has to play a three-Test series against South Africa at home. India can land with two spinners at home. In such a situation, Kuldeep can get a chance in the last-11.
Kuldeep said, “There are three spinners in the team including me, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja. It is very difficult to choose the right zone. You have to be ready to take the opportunity. Obviously you get less chances. But the pressure remains.”
