The International Cricket Council (ICC) has approved to introduce some new rules in cricket. From this, cricket will be seen in the coming times with their changed style. The ICC has made a big difference in the slow-rate of over in the annual press conference held in London.
If you throw the slow over during the match, now it will be punished not just the team captain but the entire team. The change in sentence given at slow pace has been changed. Now the captain will not be threatened with suspending, but at the slow pace, the players’ points will be cut during the ICC Test Championship.
According to the rule now, the captain was fined 50 percent of the match fee. The remaining fined 10-10 percent. On the same consistent 3 matches, the captain was banned. The new rules of the ICC will provide great relief to the captains.
The ICC has taken another important decision and implemented the new rule. During the match, if any player suffer injuries then he can be substituted with another player. The change will start with the Ashes series between England and Australia.
The ICC said that, “As the player is injured his substitution should be the same, as an example the bowler instead of the bowler and the batsman is replaced by the batsman. For such changes, it will be necessary to get approval for match referee. This change will be effective from August 1 and it will be the start of the men’s Ashes Test in Edgbaston.
