Sri Lankan pacer Nuwan Pradeep has been led out of the two-Test arrangement against Australia with hamstring damage, Sri Lanka Cricket affirmed on Sunday (January 20).
He continued a Grade 1 strain in his left hamstring while at the same time knocking down some pins amid Sri Lanka’s warm-up amusement against Cricket Australia XI. Pradeep, however, in the wake of having had left the field after two overs on Thursday, experienced a sweep on Friday before the inevitable choice was taken.
Sri Lanka were fussing over the wellness of Kusal Mendis, who had gotten an awful blow while handling in the visit amusement. In any case, he was inevitably pronounced fit to play the principal Test.
Pradeep did not include in Sri Lanka’s as of late closed two-Test arrangement against New Zealand. He last played a Test in October 2017.
Sri Lanka will play Australia in the primary Test in Brisbane that starts on January 24.
