So, we now know who the four semi-finalists are, India join England, Australia and Afghanistan. It is going to be India against Australia and England will be taking on Afghanistan. The first of the semi-finals will be played on the 1st of February and that is between England and Afghanistan. It begins at 1830 IST (1300 GMT). The build-up though begins a lot earlier. Till then, take care and goodbye!
Yash Dhull, the skipper of India Under-19, says their team combination is great and the atmosphere in the dressing room is good. Mentions it has been a good experience and they try to learn from every game. Adds they will think about the next game on the day of the match.
Bangladesh Under-19 skipper, Rakibul Hasan says the toss decided the game, the wicket was not easy first up and the opposition bowlers took advantage. States that they could have been a little cautious at the start with the bat. Ends by saying the wicket was tough but they did well and they are now looking forward to the next games.
PLAYER OF THE MATCH, Ravi Kumar, says the plan was simple, he only wanted to hit the right lines and lengths, they have played with them before and they just wanted to create pressure. States 8 days of rest was good, they spent time together and had good practice sessions. Informs the experience has been great and he has enjoyed his time.
Time for the Presentation...
Bangladesh can be pleased with the fact that they did not make it easy for the Indians. They really made them work hard for their runs. The new ball bowlers were really good, beat the bat several times, they just did not have a lot of luck on their side. Ripon Mondol impressed one and many and was the pick of the bowlers with a four-fer. Bangladesh though just did not have enough runs on the board. Maybe another 40 or 50 runs and it could have gone either way.
In reply though, India lost a wicket with no runs on the board. However, then there was a good stand between Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Shaik Rasheed. The two added 70 and settled all the nerves if there were any. India did lose a few more wickets after that but the skipper, Yash Dhull held fort at one end and took his side over the line.
A very convincing win for India and they march into the semi finals becoming the 4th and the final team to do so! It was not as easy as we thought it would be but still, it was a game they thoroughly dominated. First it was their bowlers, a combined effort saw them bundle Bangladesh out for a very low score.

Tambe gets the front leg out of the way and smokes it over the long on fence for a biggie. INDIA WIN BY 5 WICKETS!
