Oval Invincibles Women beat Birmingham Phoenix Women by 10 runs

That is it from this game then! Birmingham Phoenix Women are still to win a game whereas, Oval Invincibles Women have won their second game. Action from the Womens 100 continues on Monday! Untiil next time, take care and goodbye!
Player of the Match has been given to Marizanne Kapp!
Yet another defeat for Birmingham Phoenix Women! This is a game they should have won! Chasing a competitive total, Sophie Devine got her side off to a flier. She scored a brisk half ton and when she was batting, it seemed all too easy for the hosts. Once she fell, it was tough going for the batters to come in. Run scoring became difficult and they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Tess Flintoff did stay out there for sometime but did not score at the strike rate she would have wanted. For Oval, the likes of Kapp, Ryana Macdonald-Gay were brilliant. They got wickets when mattered and the death bowling was exceptional. Birmingham Phoenix Women will be really disappointed with their performance whereas, for Oval Invincibles Women this is a morale boosting win.
