Niroshan Dickwella says he is happy to win. Adds it was important to win the toss as the wicket was dry and they knew it could dry later on. Reckons they were watching the previous game and assessing the conditions.
Wanindu Hasaranga says they would have still bowled first if they won the toss. Adds the ball was gripping while they were batting.

Babar Azam did struggle to reach his fifty but now it makes sense as the pitch was not easy to play. However, the credit goes to the bowlers of Colombo Strikers. Right from the start they were on the money. With this, Colombo Strikers have got off with two points this season.
A comfortable win for Colombo Strikers. At first, it felt like Colombo Strikers had less score on the board but the way they bowled, they deserved the points. No batter of B-Love Kandy hanged in there. They followed one after the other giving away wickets cheaply. The hopes were still alive with Sarfaraz Ahmed out there but it didn't make a big difference. All the bowlers bowled really well but Matheesha Pathirana was the pick with 3 wickets.
