The BCCI on Tuesday signed a two-year deal with All India Radio with an aim to make Indian cricket reach more and more people. Under this agreement, cricket lovers will get a chance to listen to their favourite sports and matches live on the commentary radio.
The BCCI said in its statement that it had a two-year partnership with All India Radio. The board said that the radio commentary will begin with the T20 series to be held with South Africa.
Its two-year agreement with the BCCI will start from September 10 this year and will continue till August 31, 2021. Apart from India’s international matches, AIR will also perform radio commentaries of the Duleep Trophy, Deodhar Trophy, Women’s Challenger Series, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Super League and Irani Trophy (Men’s).
