Northern Warriors can be pleased with their efforts with the ball, they managed to take wickets when needed and did really well to take it down to the last over. They though were short in the runs column. They would have hoped for a few more runs and things could have well been different. However, credit to their bowlers for putting up a fight with a small score on the board.
New York Strikers have crawled over the line in the end! When they started, it seemed they would cruise over the line as Muhammad Waseem and Rahmanullah Gurbaz were in the mood. Once they fell, they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. At one time, things got a little too close than they would have liked but Akeal Hosein and Chamika Karunaratne played smartly and took their side over the line.
