Lucknow were just spectacular with the ball in hand, there was a moment during the death overs when Yash Thakur went for a plenty, but he came back stronger to pick up a wicket. Chasing 182 was always going to be tricky on this two-paced surface. Bengaluru though started well with the bat, their opening partnership laid down a solid platform, but no one could really build on the good work. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals. At the end of 10 overs, they were teetering at 63/4, and just during this period, it was Mayank Yadav who ran riots with the ball in hand. In his three overs until this point, he picked up two wickets by giving away just three runs. Then came a kind of fightback from Bengaluru, but it just wasn't enough. Mahipal Lomror hit a few lusty blows to keep his side in the game, but he single-handedly could not do much.
