With the win, Gulf Giants are qualified for the playoffs. They deserved it for the way they bowled. Abu Dhabi Knight Riders will be kicking themselves. They had the game in hand but the pressure got bigger on them as they lost wickets in the death. They let themselves down in the fielding department though. James Vince and Shimron Hetmyer were dropped and they went onto make the most of it. On the flip side, Gulf Giants didn't give away anything. Now, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders are on third but not yet qualified and just have to hope that other results go their way.
What a bowling performance from Blessing Muzarabani. He held his nerves in the last over. Despite bowling a no ball, he defends a total that should have been chased down. We thought Gulf Giants are 10-15 runs short but their bowlers were very clinical. In the start, they gave away too many runs but Chris Jordan started a serious comeback. His spell was pivotal for their comeback. His penultimate over took two wickets and Abu Dhabi Knight Riders started feeling the pressure. However, it was Blessing Muzarabani's final over that helped Gulf Giants clinch two points.
