This tournament was supposed to be held in the previous calendar year but it was indefinitely postponed due to the pandemic. December 11 – 18 (2020) were the previous dates for this series and with the pandemic bringing the entire world to a standstill, the event had to be moved over to the next calendar year. Hong Kong had imposed restrictions back then after the 4th wave of COVID-19 hit Hong Kong. All kinds of sporting events were put to a halt and that made fans very unhappy but we could not do much either. And here we are again, as the CHK All Star Series has been given a green signal, we are happier than before.
This tournament is going to bring all the talented cricketers of Hong Kong under the same roof. We can also expect some of the exciting and prospective talents in the mix as well.
