Rinku Singh the player from Uttar Pradesh who plays for Kolkata Knight Riders has been withdrawn from the India A squad for the upcoming India A match vs Sri Lanka A as the Board Of Control For Cricket In India(BCCI) has put a three month ban on him.
Sources says that he got banned because he took part in an unauthorised T20 match in Abu Dhabi without the permission of BCCI, the ban will begin from June 1st.
“As per the BCCI norms, a player who is registered with the board cannot play in any tournament abroad without the permission of the board. Mr Rinku Singh therefore has been suspended with immediate effect starting from June 1st” Board staff said.
