What Happened in 2018?
The Northern Warriors won the second edition of the T10 League by beating the Pakhtoons in the final on Sunday.
The Warriors won by 22 runs after scoring 140/3 from their 10 overs, thanks to a Rovman Powell special of 61 that came off just 25 balls. Andre Russell supported him well by smashing a 12-ball 38 after Mohammad Irfan had taken an early wicket of Lendl Simmons.
In reply, the Pakhtoons were never able to recover from the early loss of Cameron Delport and while the second-wicket pair of Andre Fletcher and Shafiqullah Shafiq added 50 runs, they were never able to get past the required-rate of 14. By the time the second wicket fell, the required-rate had risen to more than 16 an over and with Shahid Afridi failing to show the magic from the previous game, it was all over bar the shouting.
Earlier, Pakhtoons had beaten the Northern Warriors in the first Qualifier to make it to the final but the Warriors overcame the Maratha Arabians by 10 wickets to reach the final.
Bengal Tigers defeated the Maratha Arabians by six wickets to finish third in the tournament.

This time, however, they will play three matches each against teams from the other group – one each against three of the four teams.
The top four teams at the end of this second phase will qualify for the playoffs where the top team takes on the second-placed side in the first semi-final while third and fourth feature in an Eliminator.
