Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni will begin his preparation here from March 2 alongside different players in front of season-13 of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 38-year old Dhoni, whose future in the game has been a subject of exceptional hypothesis since the ICC 50-over World Cup in June-July a year ago, will begin preparing at the M A Chidambaram arena for the forthcoming IPL.
The IPL 2020 starts with a match among CSK and protecting boss Mumbai Indians in Mumbai on March 29.
As per CSK CEO K S Viswanathan, Dhoni will prepare with players who are accessible as the full preliminary camp of the group starts on March 19.
Previous India skipper Dhoni is relied upon to rehearse for a long time with any semblance of Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu among others. He would then enjoy a reprieve before returning, sources said.
Raina and Rayudu have been preparing here for as far back as three weeks or somewhere in the vicinity.
