Misbah-ul-Haq’s lead for the Twenty20 series against Bangladesh, including Mohammad Amir, dropped by seven players. Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik were made part of the squad while 3 new faces Amad Butt, Ahsan Ali and Harris Rauf entered.
15 Twenty20 players have been selected for the Twenty20 series against Bangladesh, 7 players have been dropped from the visiting squad.
Fakhar zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Haris Sohail, Asif Ali, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Irfan and Wahab Riaz were discharged while Sarfraz Ahmed could not make it.
Chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq recalled the seniors after the defeat in the last two series, saying that Shoaib and Hafeez should be brought back to the team if needed, Bangladesh’s T20 team is very dangerous.
Shaheen Afridi is back with senior players Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez, while the fate of Amad Butt, Ahsan Ali and Harris Rauf has also opened.
Babar Azam will be captaining the national team and Mohammad Rizwan will be capping, besides other players include Iftikhar Ahmed, Emad Wasim, Khushdal Shah, Mohammad Hasan, Musa Khan, Usman Qadir and Shadab Khan.
