Durdanto Dhaka had been dealt a few early blows. Mohammad Naim started off well but got dismissed in the very first over. Adam Rossington and Saif Hassan were the next to follow him to the dugout in the very next over. Alex Ross showed some intent but he couldn’t receive any support from the others. Sean Williams had to depart after dealing a few lusty blows. SM Meherob, Mosaddek Hossain, and Alauddin Babu were sent back in quick succession. Taskin Ahmed too didn't make a difference meanwhile, Alex Ross was the hero of the batting unit but the target was a bit far from his reach despite his heroics.
Fortune Barishal goes home today with the valuable two points. Fortune Barishal early with the ball with Keshav Maharaj giving them their first breakthrough. After that, they didn’t look to be under pressure for a long time. Then, Mohammad Saifuddin came in and took a couple of wickets in the very next over. Khaled Ahmed was the next bowler to put the opposition under pressure and took three wickets. Obed McCoy and Mohammad Saifuddin followed up with the next two wickets and that almost sealed the game in their favor. After that, it was just about sticking to the right lines and lengths which they managed to do.
