Guarding champions Chennai Super Kings will go up against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opening match of IPL 2019 in Chennai on March 23. The calendar, which was reported on Tuesday (February 19), was just for the initial two weeks of the competition and “subject to the declaration of the Lok Sabha 2019 race dates.”
The BCCI, which is anticipating subtleties of the 2019 decisions, expressed that once the surveying dates are chosen it would “address any issues with the initial two weeks and will likewise set up a timetable for the rest of the period working with the neighborhood experts around the surveying dates.”
According to the present calendar, upwards of 17 matches will be played from March 23 to April 5, with three twofold header days on March 24, 30 and 31.
Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers will play five amusements in the said period while the staying six groups will play four matches each. The Capitals are booked to play three home recreations in the initial two weeks while the Royal Challengers will play three away amusements. Whatever is left of the groups will play two home and two away amusements each.
