Team news
Canada
Navneet Dhaliwal would have been impressed with the performance his side put up in their opening game of the season. They defeated a strong Jersey side by 53 runs to earn their first points for the tournament. The batsmen did a good job setting up a big total on the board while the bowlers were on the money right from the start of the game-winning in comfortably in the end. Navneet Dhaliwal will expect his players to carry on with the same form as they play the next game. One more win will help them rise up on the points table.
Navneet Dhaliwal is in good form with the bat and along with his opening partner, Rodrigo Thomas will look to provide a good start to the side. Nitish Kumar their best batsmen played a match-winning knock in the last game and shall look to do the same in the next one. In Nicholas Kirton, Ravimderpal Singh and Hamza Tariq the side has a good lower-order going into this game. The bowling attack looks good with new ball bowlers Jeremy Gordon and Dillon Heyliger in good form. Saad Bin Zafar Nikhil Dutta also bowled well in the last game and so did Dhaliwal and they would look to support the new ball bowlers well in the upcoming game.
Nigeria
Ademola Onikoyi’s side didn’t have the perfect start to their campaign as they went down by 69 runs in their first game against Jersey. The side which has made it to the tournament on a wild card entry hasn’t looked competitive enough in their first game where their batting, as well as bowling, looked below the standards set by the other sides. Barring a few most of their players looked in extremely poor form in the last game. The team will now need to regroup ahead of the next which comes against a strong opposition that has several seasoned T20 players in their ranks.
The opening pair of Leke Oyede and Daniel Ajekun started well in the last game but failed to capitalize on the start. They will need to improve that in the next game. In the middle order, the side would need a good contribution from the likes of Joseph Adedeji, Vincent Adewoye, Isaac Okpe and Ademola Onikoyi in the next game. All of them had done poorly in the last game. As far as bowling goes Abiodun Abioye did well but the rest of the bowling attack leaked runs. New ball bowlers Okpe and Adewoye have to bowl tighter spells and expect good support from Daniel Ajekun and Joseph Adedeji in the game.

Expert Advice:
Canada’s playing XI for the first match was quite an interesting one. They left out some big names who were regular performers for Canada. They are unlikely to make the changes to the XI which recorded a big win over Jersey.
Probable Winners:
Canada is expected to register yet another big win.
