Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has named Tamim Iqbal as their new One-Day International (ODI) chief on Monday.
“The board has consistently chosen Tamim Iqbal as our new ODI skipper,” BCB President Nazmul Hassan uncovered at a public interview.
“We thought of delegating a skipper for a brief length and afterward giving the activity to another person one year from now. However, we at long last ruled against a momentary arrangement. We trust Tamim would serve for a long haul,” he included.
Tamim has prior directed the group in ODIs a year ago in July against Sri Lanka yet the group bombed hopelessly under his captaincy losing all the three games.
The new excursion of Tamim will proceed as a captain in the long stretch of April where the group will play one-off ODI against Pakistan.
It is to be noticed that Tamim Iqbal has taken over as a substitution from Mashrafe Mortaza who has quite recently as of late ventured down of his post and the third ODI against Zimbabwe was his last as the captain.
